PREPARING STORYBOARDS AND CHARACTER ART FOR PRESENTATION OF AN ANIMATION PROJECT
Presenting an animeted project requires careful preparation of many elements. With no doubt, the design of the storyboard and visualization of the characters are key and require additional attention. We will quickly clean up sketches and setup the composition for every shot of the storyboard. Also, we will add the description of camera motion, sound, special effects and voice over text. We will see how to outline, vectorize and color character art. Everyone can work on paper, but the teacher will demonstrate how elements can be edited and brought together in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.

PUPPET ANIMATION
Puppet animation is an animation technique that physically manipulates a puppet that appears to move on its own. The puppet is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.
Puppet animation (stop motion animation) - animator on the set animates puppets:
Inside the puppets there is a wire or armature that looks like a skeleton - a design that allows precise setting of the next phases of the movement. The whole film is shot on the set, which is a miniaturized environment.During my lecture I would like to tell you about puppet animation and puppet show films produced in the studio SE-MA-FOR.

IMAGE + SOUND = THE WHOLE PICTURE
Filmmakers work long and hard to get their story pitched perfect, but even after that final edit, the film is only partially complete. Have you ever watched a film with the sound turned down or experienced a film with alternate soundtracks? Even if there is no musical score in the plans, a good foundation of sound design is necessary to bring the audience into the world of the film. Sound sets the landscape and mood, and music can bring emotions and memory into the picture. Rhythm, melody, atmosphere, texture - there are many things we can use to help tell the film's story and even to draw attention from flaws in the film that may exist.
