Synopsis

A cable car ride through the San Francisco of the early 20th century marks the background that bids farewell to the blessings of capitalism. The animated figures placed on a black and white setting, portray the merciless financial markets and expose the perversion of eternal economic growth.

Director's BIO

Tim Weimann,
born in 1976, had already worked several years in the film industry before he decided to study Animation at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His graduation film MY DATE FROM HELL from 2006, won several international awards as well as the junior prize of the Trickfilm Festival in Stuttgart.
Later, Tim worked as an animation and art director in the advertising industry. He lives in Duesseldorf where he holds the position of creative director for the company DFIGN / DAS WERK today.
