Pushed beyond her breaking point by an endless routine of duties and lessons, princess Maria is swept into the dark, dark woods full of monsters.
Director's BIO
Emile Gignoux, 1993, is an animator and illustrator from Paris, France.
He graduated in 2017 from The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark, with a Bachelor of Arts in Character Animation.
During his thirds year of study at The Animation Workshop he worked as a director on the 2D graduation film “Dark Dark Woods”.
In the summer of 2016 he interned at Cartoon Saloon ltd in Ireland where he worked as assistant animator on the 2D feature film Breadwinner, directed by Nora Twomey.
He would like to work in 2D animation, storyboard, and layout and develop his own projects. He’s very inspired by nature and classical music.
